Bathroom Remodeling in Douglas County

Bathrooms are a building-science problem wearing a beautiful finish. Waterproofing, slope, ventilation and substrate decide whether the room still looks like this in fifteen years, and none of them are visible in a photograph. We build it right under the surface — run by one principal, not a franchise crew or a string of hand-offs.

Financing available through third-party lenders on qualifying projects.

What the work covers

Primary-suite and guest bathroom reconfiguration, curbless and linear-drain showers, freestanding tubs, large-format tile and natural stone, custom vanities and millwork, heated floors, and lighting and mirror detailing planned together rather than separately. Tile and stone are waterproofed and set by our own craftsmen — the part of a bathroom that most often fails when it’s subbed out and rushed.

Waterproofing and ventilation

Sheet or liquid-applied membranes with tested seams, correctly sloped pans, decoupling where movement is expected, sealed penetrations, and exhaust sized and ducted to the outside — not into a joist bay. This is the part of the budget worth protecting.

How the process runs

Programming, layout and elevation review, selections against real lead times, fixed-scope pricing, and a defined build calendar. Plumbing and electrical are handled in-house so rough-in inspections are not waiting on a subcontractor’s other job.

Douglas County specifics

Colorado’s dry air and large seasonal swings are hard on tile assemblies, and many 1990s and 2000s bathrooms in the county were built with mortar-bed details that no longer meet current practice. We usually recommend taking those back to studs rather than tiling over them.
