Douglas County, Colorado · Principal-Led Design-Build

Douglas County Remodeling, Built Around Your Home

Whole-home renovations, additions, premium kitchens and exterior living — drawn, priced and built by the same people who walk your house on day one. One principal accountable for the schedule, the trades and the finish.

Consultations are by appointment · Castle Rock based · Serving all of Douglas County

What We Build

Five kinds of work, one accountable team.

We take on substantial residential projects where design, structure and finish all have to be coordinated. If your project sits across two or three of the categories below, that is the normal case, not the exception.

An open-plan dining and living area with timber beams, stone and layered lighting.

Whole-Home Remodeling

Reworking the plan of a house rather than refacing it — walls moved, structure engineered, mechanical and electrical brought up to date, and every finish re-selected as one scheme. Phased so the house is liveable where that is possible.

Exterior of a Colorado home with stone base, timber detail and a low-pitched roofline.

Home Additions

Primary-suite additions, expanded great rooms, second-storey and bump-out work. Foundation, framing and roof tie-ins detailed so the addition reads as part of the original house, with permitting handled through Douglas County.

A mountain-modern kitchen with a large stone island, panelled appliances and wood ceiling.

Premium Kitchen Remodeling

Custom cabinetry layouts, natural stone counters, integrated appliance packages, prep and beverage zones, hood ventilation and a lighting plan built around how the room is actually used at 7am and at 7pm.

Interior with plaster walls, exposed timber and wide-plank flooring.

Interior & Exterior Finishing

Millwork and trim, stair and fireplace details, plaster and paint, tile and stone, siding, soffit and exterior stone. The trades where the difference between good and excellent is entirely in the detailing.

An elevated deck with steel railing looking out over trees and mountains.

Decks & Outdoor Living

Structural decks, covered outdoor rooms, hardscape terraces, outdoor kitchens and fire features — engineered for Colorado snow load, freeze-thaw and the wind exposure your particular lot actually gets.

Where We Work

Douglas County and the communities around it.

We keep the working radius tight on purpose. A short drive from the office means the principal can be on your site the same day a question comes up, which is the whole point of a small, principal-led builder.

How We Work

A short, verifiable set of facts.

No inflated numbers here — only things you can check for yourself before you call.

Principal-led

Michael Glivar, the principal, runs the walk-through, the scope and the schedule. You are not handed to a rotating cast of coordinators after signing.

Twenty years on the Front Range

Two decades of residential work in Colorado, with an active permit history in Douglas County — we publish the county’s monthly permit activity at brothers59construction.com/permits.
